After tripping over Katey’s “firearms facts” video yesterday, I decided to do a little more poking around on her dad Bruce’s website (brucemontague.ca) and learn some more about how he came to find himself in his fracas with the CFC zombies.
Anybody who’s spent any time at all reading any of my rants likely has already figured out that I’m a firm supporter of the rights of law-abiding gun owners — I happen to be one myself — and so won’t be surprised to hear that I did have a passing familiarity with Bruce’s case. Yeah, that translates into “I knew what I read in the papers.” How unlike me 😳 is that?
Anyways… Bruce’s site has all the info you could want on how he’s been getting screwed over. He also has a page of audio and video downloads available describing what he and his family have been forced to put up with over the last couple of years, all of them definitely worth the time to check out.
Since I don’t know who hosts Bruce’s site or how much bandwidth he gets — and since I don’t think he’s going to mind getting his message spread around a little bit more — I’ve decided to pilfer the best media files from his site and post them here for my legions of adoring fans.
Screw off; I can dream.
We’ll start off today with a 15-minute fund-raiser/information vid that tells of how Bruce found himself in his predicament and what you can do to help. Be warned: it’s kind of a big video (about 14MB), so if you don’t want to stop your surfing to wait for it to load, you can just download it here (just right-click the link and save) and watch it later.

It never ceases to amaze me, the idiocy that some people will go gallivanting after. The fact that they go for some of this crap in the first place is baffling enough, but just why the hell do they seem to insist on thinking that this is somehow something new that they’ve stumbled onto; over and over and over again…
Anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows that all this shit has been said and done before, some of it hundreds or even thousands of times, but the gullible still fall for it every damned time. Most of these little flash-in-the-pan cults are, while offensive, just plain too dumb to be worth worrying about. Others, however, serve as a good reminder as to why even freedom of religion needs to have at least some limits. One such movement is the so-called “Creciendo en Gracia (Growing in Grace) ministry.”
Those who read here with any frequency may find themselves wondering just where the hell I’m going with this. After all, I’ve always made it quite plain that I have no use for those who would bash away at people of faith, so why the hell do I seem to be doing just that right now??
Well, it’s simple, really. Yes, how a man keeps — or doesn’t keep, for that matter — his company with God is his own business and no one else’s. I do believe that. But I also believe in learning from history; something about those forgetting the follies of the past being condemned to repeat them in the future and all that other bookworm stuff. And that has plenty to do with this bunch of deviant devotees.
You see, the Creciendo en Gracia is the brainfart of, and led by, a dude by the name of Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda. He’s a “62-year-old former Puerto Rican heroin addict and felon now based in the southern U.S.” So far, so what, right? There are two big problems with this guy. The first is that he claims to be the second coming of Christ. No, that’s not a metaphor; this bozo actually seems to believe it.
Now, let me see… where have I heard that before? Oh, yeah; this dude said the same thing. You remember him, don’t you? Of course you do. He’s David Koresh, the leader of the “Branch Davidian” cult that got everybody in North America pronouncing “Waco” as “wacko” after he and his followers barbecued themselves in April of ’93 after holing up against the FBI and BATF for nearly two months. Not a bad ending for a delusional pedophile prick that seemed to think that, while no one else should be having anything resembling sex, he needed a whole harem of underage (even by the Texan standards at the time) girls to keep himself amused. It would have been ok if he had had the common courtesy to croak on his own, but nnooooo; this warped-minded wannabe-messiah had to take over 80 other people with him, including about 25 kids.
Waitaminit, now… He wasn’t the first was he? Nope, he wasn’t. Over a decade before Vernon Wayne Howell started calling himself David Koresh, there was crazy-as-a-shithouse-rat Jim Jones and his “Peoples Temple” down in Guyana. Things didn’t turn out too good for that bunch either, did they? Jimbo also had more than a few sexual bats in his belfry, maybe because of all the dope he was sucking back. After packing up about 1000 people and buggering off to the South American jungle, setting up a commune called “Jonestown” (nope, no ego there) and murdering a US Congressman, Jimmy seems to have decided that he wanted to bug out before the shit hit the fan. But these megalomaniacs can never seem to check out by themselves, can they? Not only did he off himself, he ordered his followers — all 900+ of them — to suck back a few slugs of cyanide- and valium-laced Kool-aid so they could come along for the ride into the afterlife. Those who didn’t like the idea were either shot or had the poison forced down their throats. To this day, the local Guyanese people go nowhere near the grounds of the former Jonestown.
Trying to be Christ doesn’t seem to turn out too well, does it? But hey, De Jesus isn’t stopping there. Hell no. Why settle for being just Christ when you can be the Antichrist, too? No, I’m not making that shit up. But even that isn’t new, is it? Nope; that’s been done before, too. And we all know how well it worked out for that guy, don’t we?
So you’ll just have to excuse me if there are some places where I draw the line on freedom of religion. And don’t give me any of that “slippery slope” bullshit, either. We started down that slope when we decided that idiots like these deserve to have their “civil rights” protected by the power of the state. We’ve been careening down the sonofabitch ever since.

Can somebody — hell, anybody; I don’t care who — please explain to me this Canuckleheaded obsession that we seem to have with embracing double standards? Seriously, folks; we’re starting to make ourselves look like we’ve got our heads so far up our butts, we chew our food twice. I know I’ve already given my snarky little 2¢ worth on this and I really, honestly did think that this would just fade into the woodwork like the social slight of hand that it is.
But, nooooooooooooo, that would make too much sense, wouldn’t it? This thing just won’t seem to stay dead. Like Marley’s ghost, it shambles around, gibbering like a TO homeless industry advocate in a private chinwag with mayor culpa David Miller. Granted, I would expect such shrill belly-button gawking from Quebec media, but the rest of the country can’t seem to quit picking at it, either. Even the union bobbleheads have hopped up on their hind legs to bark away about it.
In case you’re one of the three people that haven’t figured out what I’m bellyaching about yet, I’m talking about the case of Carol Rioux. That’s right: the French guy in Alberta that lost his job because of crappy English on his part. That guy. What I don’t get is, why is this news?? I mean, think about it now. Think about it. With headlines like “Second look at French flap,” “Francophones up in arms,” and “Quebecer fired for bad English,” you’d think there was actually something to this. I’ve got a better headline for you. How about…
Not Bilingual, Canadian Loses Job
We could have a really cool follow-up story, too:
Man Takes Dump, Wipes Ass
What do these have in common? It’s simple: both happen every day in this country, every where. That’s why neither one is news.
Gee, could it maybe have something to do with the fact that, this time, it’s happening to a French guy?? 😯 Well, we can’t have that now, can we? After all, official bilingualism is only supposed to screw the Anglos over; right?
Licia Corbella nailed it in today’s Edmonton Sun, hypocrisy and all. Could you imagine the reverse (an Anglo losing work because his French sucks) making news in Quebec? Mais non, bien sur!
As far as I’m concerned, until I can get a job in la belle province with only the French I’ve got; Rioux, the unions, the handwringers, and all the other moonbats in general can clamp their flappin’ yaps ’round my purple-headed yogurt flinger, make like a shop vac, and chug-a-lug a few pints of Shut The F*ck Up®.
I’m an Anglo Assholeâ„¢ and I approve this message.

Now this right here is a perfect example of why I loathe the so-called “gay rights activists” crowd. It seems that New Brunswick is perhaps on the way to becoming one of the first provinces in the country to take a stand against the politically correct thought police, in favour of freedom of religion. And — gee whiz, who’d’a thunk it? — the SSM Left-wingnuts are totally pissed:
Conservative MLA David Alward said his proposed amendment to the Marriage Act would grant rights to commissioners who are opposed to same-sex “marriage” on religious grounds.
Homosexual activist groups have responded to the proposal with outrage, saying the legislation would grant rights to individuals who “discriminate” and would be an affront to the “equal marriage” movement.
Oh yeah, BIG surprise there. 🙄 They’ve got themselves all affronted, abacked, and probably asidewaysed as well. As usual, the rewriters of human nature assume that, whatever it is, it must be all about them. Surely, it couldn’t possibly have anything to do with people like Scott Brickie, Chris Kempling, Orville Nichols, or any of the other God-knows-how-many people who have been hauled in front of so-called “rights” tribunals and pilloried for nothing more than exercising their own rights.
And by “rights,” I mean real ones — like freedom of religion and speech — that are actually in documents like the CCRF or the USBOR; as opposed to “gay marriage,” which a handful of unelected judges just made up out of thin air.
These assholes try to make it sound like they’re somehow standing up for freedom when in fact, they’re destroying it. Perhaps the most fundamental freedom is the one to say “no, I choose to not participate in this,” and that is exactly what these bastards are trying to eliminate. They say they want “tolerance.” Bullshit. What they want is the whole world up on their little bandwagon with them and if you don’t want to go along with it, that’s tough shit because you’ll be dragged along if that’s what it takes.
Whatever rights you think you have don’t mean shit to them. They don’t want to be “tolerated,” or just left alone to mind their own business. They want to tell you what you can and cannot believe and they will bring all the coercive power of the state down on you towards that end.
How long will Canadians allow this cacophonous-but-miniscule minority to run roughshod over traditions and rights that have sustained our society for generations? And when the oppressed faithful are finally pushed too far, what will the backlash be?
Only time will tell. But I just can’t shake the feeling that it won’t be pretty…

Sometimes you find things in the darnedest places. Anybody with eyes and ears is aware of the numerous culture clashes that have been biting at our collective backsides across the country — and most others in the free Western world — for years now. From veils on drivers licenses to kirpans in schools to friggin’ Sharia law in Ontario, the traditions and values that form the foundations of our very way of life are being slowly, relentlessly chipped away at, one by one. I’ve known for decades (and flung it from my piehole at just about every opportunity) that it’s only a matter of time before Western societies start to say, “NO MORE. We gave you an inch, you took a mile. Now you will either live by the rules we set or live someplace else. You have no say in this and neither does anyone else. We tried that and it failed; now we do it the hard way.”
Don’t fool yourself, either; it will happen. Despite what those who would turn our civilization inside out say, there are too many of us who simply don’t have it in them to go quietly into the night. Horrors from the fields of Sharpsburg, to the meatgrinder that was the Somme, to the leveling of Dresden and Hiroshima bear witness to just what we’re capable of when some threat to our way of life awakens the dark things that slumber beneath our civilized veneer.
Fortunately, our inner demons are slow to rouse, and rarely fully awaken. But it really only was just a matter of time before heels began to dig in; even here in nice, tolerant Canada. The only question was, where? Ironically, the answer came from what some consider to be pretty much the un-ballsiest region of the country:
HEROUXVILLE, QUE. — A sign at the entrance of this rural Quebec town says: Herouxville welcomes you.
Unless, that is, you plan on stoning a woman to death, sending your kids to school with a kirpan or covering your face other than on Halloween.
The town council of Herouxville, a sleepy town dominated by a towering Roman Catholic church, has adopted a declaration of “norms” that it says would-be immigrants should be aware of before they settle in this town. Among them, it is forbidden to stone women or burn them with acid.
Children cannot carry weapons to school. That includes ceremonial religious daggers such as kirpans, even though the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Sikhs can carry kirpans in schools.
However, children can swim in a pool with other children — boys and girls alike — because they can’t be segregated.
And for the record, female police officers in Herouxville, 165 kilometres northwest of Montreal, can arrest male suspects. Also part of the declaration is that women can drive, dance and make decisions on their own.
You’d think that most of those things would go without saying, wouldn’t you? But many people would be surprised to learn just how many people come here from Outer Backwardsistan or wherever-the-hell and think that the only rules that matter are the ones that they bring with them (not to mention how far backwards some are willing to bend over to accommodate that mindset)…
Honour killings in Calgary:
What Mukesh and the Dulays didn’t know was Kulvinder’s brother Daljit, furious over the marriage that went against the family’s wishes, hired a private investigator to track down the couple so he could carry out a so-called honour killing.
Female cops in Montreal second-class:
The article, published in the October issue of the internal newsletter L’Heure Juste, is part of a series of features on different religions and cultures, and aims to assist officers who find themselves in potentially awkward situations, said a police spokeswoman.
“That’s the reality,” said Insp. Joanne Paquin. “If we don’t understand the differences of all those cultures, maybe we won’t respond the right way.”
But the Montreal Police Brotherhood insists the force has gone too far, accusing it of denigrating its female officers by suggesting they can’t do the job alone.
Husbands banned from prenatal classes:
Pendant plusieurs mois, le CLSC de Parc-Extension a refusé systématiquement que les hommes assistent àses cours prénataux pour accommoder des femmes musulmanes, hindoues ou sikhs.
Si des femmes souhaitaient quand même suivre un cours prénatal avec leur conjoint, elles étaient obligées de se rendre au CLSC Côte-des-Neiges ou au CLSC Métro.
Gender-restricted times at public swimming pools, weapons in schools, blocking out gym windows if there’s women in them, a pic of a veil on your driver’s license (or passport, even), the list gets exhausting if you think about it too much. Each and every one another chip out of the foundation that props up all the freedoms that we have so cavalierly come to take for granted.
And — golly gumbucks, who’da thunk it? — the usual suspects over at the Ministry Of What You Should Think and all the others in the standard list of malcontents are, naturally, hollering their pointy little heads off with all the tired, old, predictable accusations…
But some Muslim leaders have called the code a thinly-veiled example of xenophobia.
“Racism is coming out of the woodwork now, and it’s not being obscure or subtle,” said Salaam Elmenyawi of the Muslim Council of Montreal.
Of course it is. 🙄 Anything that isn’t complete capitulation to somebody else’s way of life that they trundled over here from wherever must be racism.
Well, guess what, smartasses? That bullshit doesn’t seem to be packing as much of a punch as it used to. More and more people — whether they be in Canada, France, the Netherlands or elsewhere — are beginning to demand a real debate on the issue of what has come to be known as “reasonable accommodation” that doesn’t involve hysterics and accusations of bigotry. You’ll note that I said DEMAND, not ASK FOR.
And the more you look, the more you realize that the loopy Left and its cadre of multicultists just isn’t up to that task. After all, hysteria and slurs are all they have to work with…

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, to part two of my run for that li’l old fatwa brass ring. In case you missed yesterday’s post on this, I’m putting up a few YouTube vids that were filmed inside some British mosques by an undercover reporter with Channel 4.
So far, so good. Keep that hate mail rolling in because, you know, that’s the best way to get a guy like me to toe the line.
