Okay, here we go. Gravol? Check. Barf bucket? Check. Piggies on the runway? Check. I sooooo don’t wanna do this…
Everybody who spends any time here already knows that I have no love whatsoever for Billary “I love country music” Clinton (google it if you can’t figure it out). I agree with Gary Hubbell when he says that “the Angry White Man loathes Hillary Clinton. Her voice reminds him of a shovel scraping a rock.” I had no idea that Gary even knew me. 😛 The real problem here is that I also like to think of myself as someone who acknowledges common sense, regardless of whose mouth it comes out of.
So you can imagine the conundrum that I find myself in when Billary up has herself a “don’t Falk with me, Argentina” moment and blurts out the only realistic answer on the question of how to deal with a potentially nuke-packing Iran: (more…)

Well, my Saturday’s off to a satisfactory start; how about yours? What with all the warm, fuzzy un-language that we get rammed down our throats in the media these days — whores are “sex trade workers,” terrorists are “insurgents,” no-go zones in Paris are “culturally sensitive areas,” rape is “sexual assault,” blah blah blah, ee-eye-ee-eye-oh — it’s nice to see, even if it’s only every now and then, a reporter that decides to just say “screw it, a spade’s a spade,” and hit the nail on the head.
Out in Edmonton, Tony Blais managed to find that nail and give it a good smack…
Crackhead jailed for abduction, rape
An Edmonton crackhead was sentenced to nearly eight years in prison yesterday for the “frightening” and “horrifying” armed abduction and rape of a city teen.
Edward Wayne Belter, 46, put his head in his hands upon hearing the sentence and then looked angrily towards the victim, cursing under his breath.
While Tony seems to have the idea, the judge, Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Robert Graesser, doesn’t quite seem to get it. Granted, he gave this scumbag 8 years (not enough IMO, but better than some other asshat judges have done) but then he goes and decides to lay on the fuzzy…
Graesser told Belter, a former construction manager, he accepted the Sept. 5, 2006, attack was “drug-fuelled” and appeared out of character for him and said it was another case of a person having their life “ravaged” by drugs.
So WHAT??? Nobody put a gun to this asshole’s head and rammed a crackpipe in his gob…

Indeed, it does. And as the turd that is the Grit-beholden Elections Canada bobs to the surface, more and more people are beginning not only to despise the stink, but also have some very uneasy feelings about what may yet be lurking below the surface of the fetid pool that is a public service sector. Thew deck that the Librano$ have had decades to stack in their favour as a failsafe against being given the boot by the unwashed masses.
In light of the skulduggery that we’ve seen in the last few days, all that deck-stacking seems to be bearing fruit, even if it’s not in the way that the HypoGrits were hoping that it would.
Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time today to shoot my mouth off about this as much as I’d like to, so instead, I’ll just put up a bunch of links and stuff and let you do some poking around yourselves… (more…)

I sounded off briefly yesterday about the so-called “in-and-out scandal” (sounds like the plot for some corny ’70s porno flick, doesn’t it?) that has the HypoGrits and their MSM lapdogs in such a lather lately. Now, I know that I don’t often go off about the same topic several times in a row very often — my ex has often accused me of having the attention span of a hand grenade 🙄 — but the sheer depth and breadth of the anti-Conservative spin that’s flying about in this particular turd typhoon makes me feel like more needs to be said on this.
Just try finding something in the MSM on this that doesn’t have a strong stink of judging the Tories as guilty-until-proven-innocent. Trust me on this one, you’ll have to do a hell of a lot of sifting.
Here’s a few links to help folks in figuring out just how far off into the left field of partisanism Elections Canada has gone… (more…)
The hat’s off once again to Edmonton’s favourite Elmer Fuddette, Hunter, for posting this ahead of me (along with a knowing wink to frmgrl, one of her regular commentators who clued her in to it in the first place).
Some folks have been asking why I haven’t sounded off about the Great Raid That Wasn’tâ„¢, which was supposedly carried out by the RCMP on the Conservative Party of Canada. The simple answer is, that I haven’t had the time lately.
But I’ve got a few minutes now, and here’s what I think. The most important thing that was removed by Elections Canada from the CPC offices (and yes, it was Elections Canada doing the searching and not the RCMP) was something that had nothing whatsoever to do with Tory financing practices, but was also one thing that they could never have gotten their hands on otherwise. Are you ready? Here it is… (more…)

Yesterday, I posted the five YouTube chunks of part one of Ross Kemp in Afghanistan. Several visitors have pointed out to me that there’s a hell of a lot more than just what I put up. So, in the interest of not having my sorry arse nagged right off, here’s the second part of the series (again, in five YouTube chunks).
From time to time, it gets too easy for us to get tied up with what we’re doing in Afghanistan and forget that we aren’t the only ones there…
