Okay, everybody, I finally managed to get my mitts on a better photo of our marvelous injustice system’s latest fugitive, Ahmed Moalin-Mohamed. The pic was found on the London Police Service’s website so, naturally, it’s a mugshot. The second is the same pic, just taken from the TO Star’s website and of a bit better quality. Moalin-Mohamed was released on bail by boneheaded Justice of the Peace Jack Carroll (who’s been suspiciously off the radar himself, lately) on October 24 and took less than two weeks to fly the coop three days ago, the day before his bail was up for review. Of course. Don’t you just love our little catch-and-release system?
Police believe that this trigger-happy troublemaker has made like a bird and flocked off from TO and is likely now back in London again, so keep your eyes open. Anyone spotting him can contact London Police Service at 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
As if we didn’t have enough arseholes in this city already, police are now reporting that they think 23-year old Ahmed Moalin-Mohamed may have made his way back to London in defiance of a bail condition that he stay out of Middlesex County unless it was for a court date. He was ordered to live at the address of his mother (Mabelle Avenue, in TO) and obey a curfew, too. Aw, but he promised… 🙄 Golly, what are the chances that a scumbag that would shoot four people would lie?
This here is the only photo that I’ve been able to find of this waste of skin. Keep your eyes open. If you see this bugger, CALL THE COPS:

Well, well; isn’t THIS just a big God damned frigging surprise? Need any more proof that the courts (and more particularly, the pussyass leftist, social engineering judges that preside over them) need to take a good one upside the head and get put in their place right quick? Okay, then, here it is.
First, he shoots four people in downtown London on Thanksgiving weekend. Then, some punkass judge lets him just stroll out of jail free as a bird. Now, Ahmed Moalin-Mohammed has just up and disappeared. That’s right: the son of a bitch hasn’t been seen in over two days. Let’s all take a moment to have another look at some of the highlights of this latest asshattery of our criminal-coddling injustice system, shall we? Here goes:
- He shot FOUR damn people in the middle of a crowded parking lot, fer chrissakes.
- He had himself NO FIXED ADDRESS. For those not familiar with that term, it means that he didn’t live anywhere.
- Despite being charged with over a dozen offences, including aggravated assault and ATTEMPTED MURDER, dumbass Justice of the Peace Jack Carroll lets him bugger off, as happy as a lark (and no doubt giggling out his arsehole at the impotence of our justice system and the gullibility of the eunichs that preside over its courts), because he crossed his heart and promised to stay at his mommy’s house.
- Just to put a nice little cherry on top of all of this, the prick somehow had security clearance at Toronto’s Pearson International airport.
Cue the usual suspects to come out of the woodwork and tell us that locking up criminals solves nothing. Has anyone else noticed how that crowd seems to be made up exclusively of people that have never been the victim of a crime themselves? Just wondering.
The fact of the matter is that the courts are out of control. The rights of the guilty mean everything and deterrence, denunciation, punishment, the rights of victims and the security of society as a whole mean less than nothing. Sure, if there’s a big enough public outcry, they might, maybe, unf#*% themselves and fly right for a while. But as soon as the ruckus dies down and John Q. Canadian goes back to sleep, it’ll be right back to business as usual, with the revolving door on the jailhouse running overtime to make up for the “backlog.”
Just what the hell is it going to take before judges in this country pull their heads out of their backsides and start treating crime like the serious issue that it is? The answer to that question is simple. It’s crass, cynical and more than a little vulgar but it’s still simple:
- Judges will get serious about theft when enough judges’ cars get stolen.
- Judges will get serious about violence when enough judges get beaten up.
- Judges will get serious about murder when enough judges’ brothers or sons get killed.
- Judges will get serious about rape when enough judges’ wives or daughters get raped.
Disgusting, you say? Of course it is; but try and prove me wrong.
Go ahead; try it. I dare you.

What the hell kind of little bastards are some people raising these days? It seems that Calgary has a problem with local brats, some as young as eight, buggering off with the money raised for Rememberance Day poppies.
Yeah, you read that right. It seems that nearly 100 of the poppy pots (the white buckets that collect the donation money) have grown feet around the city with the help of these little artful dodgers. According to Karen Ellithorpe, of the local Royal Candian Legion 284:
“The biggest thefts are from the Hunterhorn Plaza and Beddington Mall — a security guard in Beddington Mall caught an eight-year-old stealing a pot.â€
Is it just me, or does anybody else remember a time when, if you were even caught thinking about pulling some stunt like this, you’d end up with your dad’s belt across your arse? It seems that least one woman out there remembers:
“I’d like the people manning stores to keep an eye on the pots, but we don’t want the individual store owners to take the law into your own hands,†said Bittman, who is reminded of last year when a woman tackled a poppy pot thief and held him captive with a bat and can of bear spray until police arrived.
Somebody remind me to buy that lady a beer. Even worse, this apparently isn’t as unheard of as you might think, and it’s not just kids.
Dang, but it’s getting crowded in here. For those of you that haven’t been paying much attention lately, we now have seven (count ’em: SEVEN) candidates running for one li’l ol’ seat on the hill for London North Centre. And none of ’em lived here before the byelection was called. 🙄
Just for a quick recap, they are: Dianne Haskett (Tories), Elizabeth May (Greens), Glen Pearson (Librano$), Megan Walker (Dippers), Steve Hunter (PCP), Robert Ede (himself) and Will Arlow (CAP) makes seven.
And here I was complaining that things were all dull around here. Guess I should be more careful what I wish for.
Meanwhile, over in la Belle Province, Ray Gravel is starting to find himself in hot water with the diocese over his not just running for the Blocheads, but for saying that he had the okay from the Vatican to do it. Am I the only one not surprised by this? I don’t think so. The Catholic Church expects its priests to stay the hell out of secular politics whenever possible, except on matters of direct concern to the Faith (SSM and abortion being two of the more noteworthy of those exceptions). Look for more doo to hit the rotating blades over this one.

And then there were … count ’em … seven

All-Candidates Meeting Nov 22
I Just learned that the first all-candidates meeting in London-North-Centre is set for Nov. 22 at the Central Library in the Stevenson-Hunt room, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Be there or be square. Or both.
There are, at the time of this writing, only three living veterans of the Great War still left alive in Canada. Each of these men, who so proudly stood in harm’s way for the good of their nation, are now no less than one hundred and five years old. The Dominion Institute has recently begun a campaign to call upon of Her Majesty’s Canadian Government to grant that the last surviving of these three should be granted the honour of a full State Funeral.
To encourage this, an online petition has been created, which reads as follows:
“We the undersigned feel enormous gratitude for the sacrifice made by all the Canadian Armed Forces through the ages in defence of this country and its values; acknowledge the very special nature of the sacrifice made by those who fought in the First World War in appalling conditions and with terrible loss of life; note that only three First World War veterans remain, and urge the Prime Minister that their sacrifice, and all of those they served with under arms from 1914-1918, be celebrated by offering a state funeral to the family of the last veteran of the First World War resident in Canada.”
The petition can be found here, and I most sincerely encourage everyone to put their name to it. You can also click here to voice your feelings to your local MP. Their goal is to reach 50,000 signatures by Rememberance Day of this year and the Dominion Institute will send the petition on behalf of its signatories directly
to the the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, on December 11, 2006.
I know that, traditionally, only Governors General or Prime Ministers are accorded the honour of a State funeral but the passing of our last veteran of the Great War is not the departure from the mortal coil of just another old soldier. It is the passing of an age and the final echo of a generation of men who willingly walked into the crucible that would, once and for all. forge Canada into a nation. More of 60,000 of them never returned.
We shall not see their like again.
If that isn’t worth putting your name to, what is?
