Well, that didn’t take forever, did it? Only about six months, right? And hey, what’s six months of crass lawlessness compared to the warm, fuzzy feeling that we all get from being nice and politically correct? After all, it’s not as if the “non-native” residents of Caledonia can actually expect the same rights and security as everyone else now, is it?

In case you haven’t heard, Superior Court Justice David Marshall has pulled the plug on the appeasement tactics of the McWimpy government and ordered that ALL talks with the rioters protesters be called off until they get the hell out of Caledonia. Saying that “It is common knowledge that the people of Caledonia, after five months of occupation, have seen security in their town replaced by lawlessness, protesters in battle fatigues, police officers in riot gear,” Marshall displayed a rare convulsion of judicial common sense and made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that ignoring the law of the land is not going to get you what you want. It also shows the Ontario Grits that they’re not going to get away with jerking off a bunch of home grown Robert Mugabe wannabes, pretending that they’re actually doing something. The Grits, however, don’t seem to be getting the message.

Many, including a lot of Caledonia residents, are worried that this is just going to throw gas on an already smoldering woodpile. Guess what, kids? The fire is already lit. These thugs have clearly gotten in into their heads that bullying is the way to get what you want. If this isn’t stopped dead in its tracks, you can all bet your arses that we will be seeing one hell of a lot more of this in the future.

No one wants another Ipperwash or another Oka. We may not want it, but it may be what’s needed.

Well, it may have taken a little longer than I expected, but the inevitable seems to have begun in Caledonia. After nearly six month of Grit dithering and bafflegab, residents of the small Ontario town are finding themselves with little or no patience left. Things started getting ugly a little after midnight last night and if you think it’s just going to get worse, you’re probably right.

Gutless waffling by the McSquinty government has emboldened the natives to believe that the law just doesn’t apply to them. From arson to swarming an old couple in their car, to attempted murder of a law officer, to letting the suspects get away with hiding on the reserve, the provincial Grits have done nothing but sit on their hands. Apparently they’re scared shitless that they’ll end up with another Ipperwash on their hands.

Well guess what, Dolt? If you don’t knock off the Pontius Pilate act and get the hell off your sorry arse, and right quick, most of us with two brain cells to rub togeather think that you’re going to find yourself in one hell of a bigger mess quicker then you can say “Dudley George.” You demand restraint and civil order from one side while letting the other run roughshod over our laws as they see fit. Haven’t you ever picked up a history book in your life? This is a recipe for an explosion of violence.

When that happens (and don’t fool yourself, numbskull, it will happen. You can only push decent folk so far before they decide to push back . . . hard), it will be all your fault. And everyone will know it. There will be no excuses that you can make because everyone is going to know goddamned well that you could have stopped this, but didn’t.

It seems that the chickens are coming home to roost after decades of Grit governments’ hug-a-thug excuses for criminal justice. As many media outlets are reporting, the RCMP are beefing up their presence ever since mad-as-hell residents of Grand Manan Island in NB got just plain fed up and started talking to the local scumbags in the only language they understand.

On July 22, a good, ol’-fashioned group of concerned citizens (about 40 of ’em) headed up to the local drug dealer’s house, burnt it to the ground and beat the living bejeezus out of a bunch of creeps that had been peddlling their poison to the locals. Apparently, the island has been having an increasing drug problem for some time with the law doing nothing about it.

Really, folks, is anybody out there surprised that something like this has happened? After years worth of wussy judges and Grit policies that put the rights of criminals over the rights of victims, how can anyone out there not have seen this coming??

Seems some folks want more on the Israeli-Lebanon / citizens of convenience thing. At least that’s what my emails are saying lately. Well, don’t worry. I’ll have more on that in due time but, like most other people in the counrty, my attention has been more occupied with domestic matters lately.

Believe me when I tell you that I’ve got plenty left to say and I don’t seem to be alone, either. More and more people that I run into are starting to ask the same questions and demanding the same answers. Like this guy right here, taken from today’s Freeps’ letters to the editor page:

As a refugee from Soviet hordes in 1944, and later as an employee of the UN International Refugee Organization in Europe, as well as a “genuine” Canadian since 1954, I wish to comment on the Lebanese-Canadians in Lebanon.

The mass hysteria by some (mostly liberal and NDP politicians, and the left-leaning media) about Conservative government’s purported dereliction of duty is deplorable.

Leftist politicians are wooing future voters rather than helping the evacuees. The media are spinning half-truths and outright lies, based on their beef with the Conservative government. Yes, we have legal responsibility to help genuine Canadians, but I do not believe that same obligation applies to the “convenient” Canadians.

It is refreshing to see many people, including some responsible MPs on both sides of the aisle, and several respected opinion makers, expressing the same thoughts.

Misuse of dual (or even multiple) citizenship, introduced by the Liberals 30 years ago, will no doubt be addressed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in due course.

In the meantime, let us hope that the evacuees being brought back to Canada at Canadian taxpayers’ expense will appreciate this generosity and stop complaining and blaming our government for their supposed neglect to provide air-conditioned buses, ferries and accommodations.

CTV and other media are reporting that 10-year-old [name removed], reported abducted by a convicted pedophile, has been found alive. More details are here and here.

UPDATE:

RCMP are still hunting Peter Robert Joseph Whitmore in connection with the disappearance of 10 year old [name removed] of Whitewood, Sask. on Sunday, July 30.

[name removed] is described as white, 4’5″ tall, about 70 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black track pants with a red and white stripe and running shoes.

Whitmore is also believed to be travelling in the company of 14-year-old [name removed], who was last seen July 22 in Brandon, Man. Jordan is described as 5’6″ tall, 150 pounds, with blue-green eyes and brown hair. Their current whereabouts at the time of this writing are unknown but police believe they are still in Western Canada. A nationwide warrant has been issued for Whitmore’s arrest.

Whitmore is believed to be driving a 1988 blue Dodge Caravan with wood panelling, similar to the one pictured below, and bearing Alberta license plate CUS 532.

Whitmore has a l0ong history of abducting and abusing children (and getting pathetically limp sentences for it). If you see this asshole, DO NOT try to be a hero.
